Thirteen grantees awarded Arts for Illinois Relief Fund grants

The State of Illinois, the City of Chicago, and arts funders have come together to provide immediate support to 501c3 organizations, individual artists, teaching artists, and arts administrators who are dealing with lost revenue or unrecoverable expenses due to COVID-19. In its first round, thirteen Fry Foundation grantees have been awarded Arts for Illinois Relief Fund (AIRF) grants:

  • Black Ensemble Theater Corporation

  • Changing Worlds 

  • Chicago Children’s Choir

  • Silk Road Rising

  • Lifeline Theater

  • Lookingglass Theater

  • Muntu Dance

  • National Museum of Mexican Art

  • Puerto Rican Arts Alliance

  • Red Clay Dance

  • Urban Gateways

  • Victory Gardens

  • Young Chicago Authors

This fund is administered by Arts Alliance Illinois in partnership with 3Arts and Arts Work Fund, who are the grantmaking partners responsible for administering grants to artists and arts organizations through AIRF.
