The Fry Foundation partners with the Taproot Foundation to connect grantees to skilled volunteers and capacity building support.
On Friday, December 10 at 10:00 am CT, Taproot will offer an introduction to their services for Fry Foundation grantees.Meeting a non-profit organizations mission and goals requires a broad range of expertise – including human resources, technology, marketing, and strategic organizational development. The last two years has tested us as we shifted many of our work practices to support those we serve and our employees, and continue to operate and grow effective organizations. To support our grantees, The Fry Foundation is partnering with the Taproot Foundation to provide pro-bono consulting. This is an opportunity to connect with skilled volunteers to tackle any challenges in HR, technology, marketing, program development, and more.
Grantees can access Taproot Plus for Fry Foundation to create a unique profile to reach volunteers to provide virtual support that ranges from quick, one-hour consultations that tackle specific issues, to longer-term projects that address more complex challenges. The process is simple - post your support needs, and Taproot Plus will let volunteers who have the requested skills know that you're interested in their help.
On Friday, December 10 at 10:00 am CT, Taproot will offer an event exclusive to Fry Foundation grantees. This conversation and discussion will provide participants with additional guidance on how to plan, publish, and manage their skills-based volunteer opportunity. Click here to register.
Grantees can also explore the types of business development, marketing, IT, strategy, and HR needs which tend to be a good fit for skills-based volunteers in Taproot’s Pro Bono Projects Catalog.
We hope that our grantees will find these resources helpful to advancing their goals and continue to build the strength of their organizations.
